Most diet plans requires some form of increase in our activity, mainly some type of exercises for fastest weight loss or at the very least an increase in walking each and every day.
How about those of us who for many, many, reasons cannot or just will not engage in any form of exercise which involves walking or running or just being in a public place.
Can we stay at home and be glued to the couch and still lose weight? Well it seems that there are those who think this is possible.
Creative exercise as it seems to be known has sprung up all over the world, regarded as the best exercise to lose weight at home by some, it does include things such as parking at the back of the car park and walking more, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, but it has also taken some form in the home by finding ways to be creative when doing the daily chores.
With a large number of adults still not getting any exercise this minimalistic approach to exercise is seen as a way to help people with minor back problems etc.
We can even begin our journey to a full healthy living regime and perhaps just a bit more strenuous exercise than those from the couch.
To help strengthen our ankles we can, whilst sitting on the couch, lift our feet slightly off the floor and rotate our ankles. Some like to make shapes or write letters or words. Just a few rotations for each ankle on a regular basis will help to strengthen the ankle.
To help with neck stiffness, try doing similar rotations when you are standing doing the dishes, this will remove creaks and strains from sitting staring at the television.
We can sit on the couch and lift our feet up to a point where we feel the stress and resistance, just hold this for a few seconds, repeating this helps with the abs and with our leg strength.
These minor exercises can be found and created in many ways in the home and with some imagination help to provide a spring board to exercise.
SUMMARY.
Do we need exercise for fastest weight loss was the question we asked and it seems that we need exercise for good health to get us fit and limber.
I don’t think for a minute that this type of exercise will help you to lose weight through exercise quickly nor do I think it will have much of an effect on your weight overall. However if it starts to transform your mind set from doing no exercise at all to one of building up to doing a bit of exercise than perhaps it is worth trying,
We must always remember that each journey begins with a single step so begin your journey to a healthy fit you today.
